The Sherman High School Symphonic Band, directed by Scott Anderson, performed "Ukranian Bell Carol" on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at the Sherman High School auditorium. Please, pardon the dark video. I tried to show you soloist Drew Korioth. Drew - a senior, first-chair trumpeter - began the carol in the audience, without a spotlight (sorry) and without being able to warm up. Way to go, Drew! The program from the bands' holiday performance cites James Ployhar as the composer or arranger of "Ukranian Bell Carol."
